Dr. Mukherjee is a statistician with over two decades of experience in multiple sectors: public health, pharma and nutrition and academia. His two areas of specialization are: Innovative and efficient designs for clinical trials and observational studies; and applying Machine-Learning (ML) for biomarker discovery and diagnostic development.
He also provides strategic consulting for products and pipelines development and regulatory-statistics support to pharma, biotech and medtech companies for developing their pipelines and product. He works with both early and late phase trials and with statistical strategies using both the traditional frequentist as well the Bayesian framework. He is deeply interested in the development and implementation of innovative statistical methodology and software.
Dr. Mukherjee founded MuSigmas in 2023 with the vision of applying modern statistical approaches to clinical trials and public health investigations and to create statistical software to empower other statisticians and clinicians. He remains passionate about mentoring the next generation of consulting statisticians.
